Thompson Recognized for Exemplary Safety Record
Thompson Construction Group was recently awarded the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce annual Commendation of Excellence awards for three of their maintenance locations. The award recognizes companies and their employees who have had a commendable Lost Workday Case Rate during the 2010 calendar. Thompson locations recognized are Apex Tool Group, Caterpillar Hydraulic Plant and GE Healthcare.
“Safety is built into the Thompson culture,” said Barry Falin, vice president, maintenance services. “We work each day at not only maintaining, but also always improving our safety performance. It’s the right thing to do for our employees and our clients.”
The awards were presented at a luncheon attended by South Carolina companies with top safety records.
